Chief I wanted to commend you on your article for your fatal fire. I share iin your plea for more volunteers. We run around 500 plus calls a year with 25 personnel. I appreciate the way you explained what it is truly like to be a volunteer. Best of luck recruiting new members. Thanks to you and your volunteers for your continued service to your community. Thank you for letting me and one of my fellow department members join you at the Dwight IL women's prison training site. This has been the most realistic layout for training that I have ever experienced. Being able to do house searches with the evening light coming through the windows and also experiencing it in the dark when the sun was fully set was awesome to experience in the same training night. Your trainers were very polite, helpful, knowledgeable, kept everyones attention and interest well, and they were very comfortable to work with. Looking forward to coming back again and leaving with a lot more knowledge and experience with every visit...
