While we have been working hard to increase the number of firefighters available, we still need more help. Specifically, we seek motivated members of the Dwight community to join our organization.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, have a high school education/G.E.D., and have no felony convictions.
We provide uniforms, tuition reimbursement, free training, pay stipends for call and training attendance, and, most importantly, the opportunity to become part of a "second family." This is your chance to give back to the community in which you live.
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a member of the Dwight Fire Protection District, please fill out an application that can be downloaded from our website using the application link below and bring it up to the fire station. If you are interested in more information, please call the station at 815-584-2373, or email the Deputy Fire Chief at jpierce@dwightfire.org
