Dwight Fire Protection District Fire Academy Ventilation Practical [5/25/2019]
Ventilation is an important fire ground tactic.
It allows the smoke and super heated gas to be removed from the building. This helps firefighters more quickly find the fire. We practice using hand tools like axes and mauls in case our power tools won’t start.
