Shiny and new is the look at are friends next door, the village of Dwight received delivery of there new 2022 ambulance. The new color pattern is shared between the fire department and village ambulance. As both departments work to replace there fleets going forward this is the new look the community will see. Many people might not know this but the fire department and ambulance are controlled by two different groups of governing bodies. Even though we are controlled differently we work for one goal, the safety of all. This is why you might see a fire engine on medical calls as that fire engine is equipped and staffed by EMT's. We look forward to training with them on there new ambulance.
